GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Clinton Walter Williams III, age 68, of Bastonville Road, Gibson, Georgia, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his residence. Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Gibson, with Rev. Ralph Kitchens and Rev. David Kitchens officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Augusta, Georgia. A native of Columbus, GA, Clinton was the son of the late Clinton Walter Williams II and Doris Taylor Williams. He was a former owner of C & W Tire in Augusta, enjoyed fishing, and yard sale hopping where he searched for antiques. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bonnie Harrison, and is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Kitchens Williams of Gibson; daughter, Bonnie and Darrin Newman of North Augusta, SC; son, Clinton W. Williams IV of North Augusta, SC; stepdaughter, Marie Todd Samples of Gibson; stepsons, Rodney Todd of Eatonton and Colen and Sandra Todd, Jr. of Mitchell; and brother, Bobby and Linda Williams of North Augusta, SC; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
