Sign the guestbook at The Augusta Chronicle-January 14, 2016 Colleen Kay Timmerman Alford AUGUSTA, Ga. - Colleen Kay Timmerman Alford, age 64, went to be with her Lord, January 12, 2016, after an extended illness. Kay grew up in Augusta, where she graduated from Richmond Academy and attended Augusta College. She later went on to be a flight attendant in Atlanta, GA, a realtor in Houston, TX, and Augusta, and married the love of her life, Larry Michael Alford, from Houston, TX. Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Michael Alford, Houston, TX; father, Benjamin Clay Timmerman, Sr.; and stepfather, Rufus Littleton Belding, Jr. She is survived by daughter, Katie-Parker Alford; mother, Eusteen Timmerman Belding; brother, Dr. Benjamin Clay Timmerman, Jr. (Andrea); sisters, Linda Timmerman Stephens (Mark), and Kellie Timmerman Tice (Doug); several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at Bethany Bible Chapel, at 2:00 P.M., with visitation at 1:30 P.M.
