HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Curtis L. Hunter of Hephzibah, GA entered into rest on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in North Carolina. Homegoing services will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors. He was born in Jameson, SC to the late Lucille Jackson Hunter and Willie Hamilton. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty-one years and continued his service as an Army Civilian for twenty-three years where he held the position of Branch Chief of the Terminal Branch of the Satellite Communication Division/ Transmission Systems Department, 15th Regimental Signal Brigade, and the U.S. Army Signal Center. He was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Mr. Hunter faithfully served as a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. Those left to cherish his memory: his children, Janice Hunter, Anthony Hunter, Cheryl Hunter, Grantly Hunter, and Carissa Hunter; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eleven brothers; four sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. US Army Retired/ DA Civilian Retired
