McGahee WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Diane Lee McGahee, 49, wife of twenty-four years to Mr. David J. McGahee, entered into rest on Friday, September 23rd, 2016. Born in Augusta, GA and an area resident all of her life, she was a daughter of Larry and Teressa Beard Lee. She graduated from Aiken Tech with a degree on Early Childhood Education and furthered her education by obtaining her Associates in Nursing from USCA. She as formerly a Registered Nurse but was more proud of the fact that she was able to Homeschool her children, Ashley and Jonathan McGahee, through AAHE. Diane was a member of Victory Baptist Church and faithfully attended Lakeside Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the beach and singing and listening to Christian Music. In addition to her husband, parents and children, family members include a brother, Trent Lee and his wife, Rebekah, Graniteville, SC; grandmother, Mildred Owings, Aiken, SC; aunt, Suzanne Barnes and her husband, Ronald, Aiken, SC; uncle, Billy Moseley, Clearwater, SC; cousins, Shannon Moseley, North Augusta, SC and Dan Moseley, NC; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Mildred Poole, Gibson, GA and nieces and nephews, Lauren Lee, Nicholas Lee, Leah Hardee, Rebekah Hardee, Hannah Hardee, Kai Hardee, Blake Smith, Jacob Smith, Wyatt Smith and Brock Smith. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016, form 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016, at 2 o'clock at Lakeside Baptist Church, Clearwater, SC, with Brother John George officiating. Diane will be placed in the church at 1 o'clock on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be David Sheed, Jonathan McGahee, Tyshawn Davis, Dan Moseley, Kai Hardee and Edward Hardee.
