Homemaker MITCHELL, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Huff Smallwood age 82, wife of the late Mr. Jack G. Smallwood, Sr. of Baker Road died Monday May 16, 2016 at Thomson Health & Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Thursday May 19, 2016 at the Camak Cemetery with Revs. Mike Timmerman and Chris Wasson officiating. A native of Greene County, GA, Mrs. Smallwood was the daughter of the late Lenora Spivey Huff and Frank Huff. She was graduate of Union Point High School and member of Long Creek Baptist Church. The family said, Mrs. Dot will be remembered for her love of cats, and reading Harlequin Romance Novels. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Jack G. Smallwood , Jr. and Amanda Smallwood of Thomson, two granddaughters, Mandy (Johnny) Brantley, and Camille Smallwood, one grandson, Tommy (Marie) Smallwood, two great grandchildren, Tripp Brantley and Jackson Brantley; a sister in law, Brenda Smallwood McDonald and a brother in law, Joe Smallwood.
