WILLISTON, S.C. - Funeral service for Mrs. Ella Louise Dickerson, age 81, will be held 1 PM, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Mt. Anna Missionary Baptist Church (Viewing 11 AM-1 PM). Burial will follow in the Mt. Anna-Mt. Harris Cemetery. She was born January 1, 1934 to the late Willie and Louisiana Patterson Moseley. She transitioned from this life to Glory on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the loving embrace of her devoted family. Ella attended the Aiken County Public School System and was a graduate of Martha Schofield High School. She was a member of the Mt. Anna Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Senior Choir, Willing's Worker Club, Usher Board, and Deaconess Ministries. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Charlie Frank Dickerson. To this union, six children were born; one son, Montgomery Dickerson, preceded her in death. She retired from Dickerson Produce where she shared her fruits and vegetables at Aiken Farmers' Market. She leaves to mourn her passing: a devoted husband of 65 years, Deacon Charlie F. Dickerson; children, James Dickerson, Catherine Lewis, Alice Mercer, Rev. Connie Landy and Rev. Annette Dickerson; two daughters-in-law, Candice Dickerson and Teresa Dickerson; one sister-in-law, June (Raymond) Bright; one God brother, Rev. Larry Dunbar and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 6-7 PM.
