BATH, S.C. - Mr. Eugene Talmedge Johnson, 80, known by his friends and family as "Tammy, entered into rest on Friday, June 3rd, 2016. Born in Louisville, GA and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of his life, he was a son of the late George D. "Dude" and Minnie McNeely Johnson. He had been employed at Bi-Lo on the south side of Aiken for seventeen years and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Gloverville, SC. Tammy enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, the mountains and of course socializing with and talking to folks. In addition to his parents, family members include his children, James Cook, Beech Island, SC, the late Linda Hickey, Debra Carver and her husband, Vernon, Langley, SC, Glenn Cook, Bath, SC, Lisa Williams and her husband, Charles, Edgefield, SC and Ron Johnson and his wife, Sheerie, Edgefield, SC; brother, Van Johnson and his wife, Peggy, Trenton, SC; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will greet fiends on (this evening) Thursday, June 9th, 2016, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2016 at 2 o'clock at High Praises Church of God, North Augusta, SC, with Pastors Jackie Ray Robinson and Eddie Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Logan Johnson, LCpl Ron "Roedy" Johnson, Trey Williams, Vernon Carver, Sr., Vernon Carver, Jr. and Kendall Chalker. If so desired, memorials may be made to the .
