AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Eva G. Osborne 83, wife of the late A.F. Osborne, Sr., entered into rest on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors this Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Dr. Sue Clayton and Reverend Donald L. Wise officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Warthen, GA. Mrs. Osborne, the daughter of the late Wilber and Gladys Caraway Gladin, was a native of Davisboro, GA, and had made the Augusta area her home for most of her life. She worked with Gracewood State School and hospital as a physical therapist for 44 years, had been an active faithful member of the Central Baptist Church and of Faith Ministries. Her family said she was well loved, respected, and affectionately know as "Granny". In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Reverend Albert F. Osborne, Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Osborne, Esther Wise (Donald), Matthew Osborne (Andrea), Anna Osborne, Joseph Osborne, Chris, Nicholas, Michelle and Kristen Ranew; daughter-in-law, Martha F. Osborne; daughter, Margaret Ranew; brother, W.A. Gladin; sisters, Tresser Smith and Glenda Butler; as well as her great-grandchildren, Luke Osborne, Gavin, Ethan, Kaden, Carter and Haiden. The family will receive friends this Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Osborne s honor to Timothy Osborne, P.O.
