NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Frances Hawn Bell, 88, who entered into rest May 11, 2016, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Bishop Ralph A. Kempski officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Bell was a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina having made North Augusta her home for the past 69 years. She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Mary Miriam Circle. Mrs. Bell was an educator in North Augusta for 47 years. She taught 4th grade, worked as a resource teacher, served as an assistant principal and retired as principal of Hammond Hill Elementary School. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Educators Sorority and enjoyed being a part of the Hammond Hill Lunch Bunch. Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leon Bell. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Mullins, North Augusta, SC; a sister, Kelsie Petty, North Augusta, SC; two grandchildren, Brittany Walden (Jamie) and Clark Mullins; a niece, Charleen Tinley; a nephew Edward Petty (Cecelia). The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 until 8. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1002 Carolina Ave., North Augusta, SC 29841.
