Robinson, affectionately known as "Pappy", was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on November 24, 2016 in Augusta, Georgia. Pappy was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, where he lived his entire life. He was the son of the late Carl and Beulah Robinson. He was married to Carol Ann Stephenson for 29 years until her death in 1989. Mr. Robinson retired from the tube mill at Babcock and Wilcox Steel after 37 years. He also retired as Athletic Equipment Manager at Geneva College after 10 years. He then spent his time enjoying his family and playing golf and working part-time at Burger King in Chippewa, Pennsylvania. George will always be remembered for his contagious joy and laughter and amazing ability to make everyone smile. He never met a stranger and loved each person so well. George served the Lord faithfully and was the patriarch of his family loving us as Christ did. He and Carol were members of the Beaver Falls Christian Missionary Alliance Church (now Chippewa Christian and Missionary Alliance) for over 30 years. George attended Pathway Church in Chippewa. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Don Robinson and his wife, Christy, David Robinson and Bob Robinson and his wife Joanne. George is survived by his two sons, Wayne Robinson (Elisabeth ) of Augusta, Georgia and Todd Robinson (Julie) of Greenwood, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Heath, Elisabeth Ann, Seth, Maryssa, Jodie, Brayden and Taylor; sisters-in-law Nancy Thompson and her husband Truman, Janice Moore and her husband Wesley, Jr., and Elizabeth Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle George. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home 2618 Darlington Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010, with services following visitation at 11:00am. Burial will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester, Pennsylvania. Full military honors will take place at the cemetery at 12:30 PM Online condolences can be made at:
