RALEIGH, N.C. - Gladys Dail, 64, daughter of Maria and the late Eugene J. Waszak was born September 2nd, 1950 in Panama City, Republic of Panama. Gladys went to be with her Lord, surrounded by her family and friends, Friday, January 30th, 2015. She was greeted with the words "well done, my good and faithful servant." Gladys was raised in a military family and began cheerleading in Frankfurt, Germany during middle school. She continued cheerleading and was homecoming queen of Evans High School, Evans, Georgia. Gladys continued to cheerlead and received an Associate's degree from the University of Georgia at Tifton, followed by a Business degree from The University of Florida at Jacksonville. She was a business analyst in the software industry, overseeing legal contracts and agreements. Always valuing education, she went on to get her Paralegal degree from Duke University in 2011 In life, she continued "cheerleading" always rooting her people on with a big smile and touching many with her strong faith in God. Gladys is survived by her husband, Darrell Dail of Raleigh; her mother, Maria Waszak of Martinez, Georgia; two sons, Todd S. Senn and his daughter, Stephanie of Augusta, Georgia and Wesley A. Senn, his wife Morrie and their two children, Jayna and Van of Jacksonville, Florida; three nieces, Marie Waszak, Shawna Rooney and Victoria Waszak; and one nephew, Carlos Waszak. Gladys was preceded in death by her father, Gene and brother, Carlos. A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 6th from 6:00-8:00p at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7th at 1:00p, Crossroads Fellowship, 2721 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604. A graveside service will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Crossroads Fellowship Church. Condolences may be made online at
