Mr. Harry Charthern, of E. Buena Vista Avenue, entered into rest March 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Carpentersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Bing officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Charthern, a native of Aiken County was a member of Carpentersville Baptist Church. He retired as assistant manager of Ft. Gordon Commissary. Survivors include a daughter, Chris Ann Ceasar (Alvin Brown); two sons, Loniel (Patricia) Charthern and Charles Raymond (Charlene) Charthern: 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence of his daughter, 211 Merriweather Drive, Graniteville or after 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. G. L.
