AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Henry Alan "John" Simms-Lee, 76, son of the late Rev. Alan and Hannah Williams Simms-Lee, missionaries to China, entered into rest Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the VA Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Fr. Lou Lindsey officiating. He was born in Hankow, China and was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. He resided in Augusta for the last 70 years and had worked as a Mail Clerk at Augusta College. He is survived by his close family friends, Dr. Frances Price and Jay and Laurie Rimmer and family, all of Augusta.
