AUGUSTA, Ga. - Herbert Chester Titus, 76, a devoted friend and supporter to many, entered peacefully into eternal rest on July 10, 2015 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, Ga. Memorial service will be conducted on July 25, 2015 at White Rock Baptist Church, 1870 White Rock Road, Lincolnton, Georgia 30817, at 3pm. Reverend Seymour Harrison will be officiating. Herbert Titus was born in Chicago, Illinois; he attended the public schools of Passaic County, New Jersey. Herbert worked as a custodian at St. Luke Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and later as a pastry chef. He leaves to cherish his memories his brother, Hubert Titus of Pensacola, FL; his sister, Theresa Titus-Lawson of New York; his sister, Cassandra Harris of Augusta, GA; a devoted nephew, Michael Harris of Augusta, GA; two care-giving nieces, Shayna Harris and Ashley Harris; and one care-giving great-niece, Shaniya Harris of Augusta, GA; one caring great-nephew, Michael Harris, Jr.; one aunt, Elector Geathers of Passaic, NJ; dearest friends, Linda, Rosemary, Rosanne, Paul, Jack Brooks, who preceded him in death and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Doctors Hospital and The Place At Martinez for their care. The family asks that memorials be made to White Rock Baptist Church, P. O.
