LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Inman Curry Hogan, Jr., 65, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Hogan, Tom Hogan, Frank Bentley, Len Glidewell, Harold Goldman, Billy Wilkes, Alex Aycock and Haynes Ashmore. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Farm Bureau board members. Mr. Hogan was the son of the late Inman Curry Hogan, Sr. and the late Julia Spratt Hogan of Lincoln County. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Lincoln County Soil and Water Conservation and served his country with honor in the National Guard. Mr. Hogan was a cattle farmer and retired as Superintendent of Roads and Bridges for Lincoln County. Survivors include one son, Inman Curry Hogan III and wife, Amanda of Washington, GA.; one daughter, Anna Carole Hogan of Martinez, GA.; one grandson, Nicholas Curry Hogan; three sisters, LuAnn H. Crawford of Bradenton, FL., Linda H. Verner of Alpharetta, GA. and Martha H. Davis and husband, Tom of Savannah, GA. Mr. Hogan was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Katherine Hogan.
