HARLEM, Ga. - U.S. Army SSG (Ret.) Jack S. Addison, Jr., 61, loving husband of Helen R. Addison, entered into rest on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Reverend Larry Little officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors accorded. Mr. Jack was born in Charleston, SC to the late Jack S. Addison, Sr. and Ludie Faye Addison. He was retired from the United States Army and was a barber at Newsome's Super Styles in Harlem for many years. He was a Deacon of Life Outreach Center. Survivors include his wife, Helen R. Addison; two sons, Joseph Addison (Kristie) and Paul Kirkland; two daughters, Lisa Duran and Kattie Addison; step-children, Mary Robinson, Giovanni Gilland and Wiley Sowell; one brother, Bryce Addison; two sisters, Patty Addison and Penny Grove; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
