WADLEY, Ga. - Mr. Jack Lamb, age 87, died Tuesday at his residence. Mr. Lamb was born in Jefferson County, son of the late Mark and Eleanor Moore Lamb. He was preceded in death by his wife Susie Juanita Lamb. Mr. Jack was a farmer and a member of the Georgia Sheriff's Association. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church where he served as a member of the Pastor Parrish Relations Committee. Funeral Services for Mr. Jack Lamb will be held Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's United Methodist Church with Reverend Hugh Baxter, Reverend Larry Sauls and Reverend Kenneth Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Wadley. The family will receive friends at St. John's United Methodist Church Thursday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M. Pallbearers will be: Chip Evans, Bill Pettit, William Reynolds, Jerry Payne, David Hamilton, and Pete Ackron. Honorary pallbearers will be: Isaiah Thomas, Melvin Radford, Robert Black, Ollie Carter, Jerry Chance, Joel Cowart, and George Rachels, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Jessie Williams, P.O. Box 847, Wadley, Georgia 30477 in memory of Mr. Jack Lamb. Survivors include his children, Jackie Watkins (Kenneth), Tommy Lamb, Ronnie Lamb (Angie), Davey Lamb (Donna), and Barbara Ackron (Pete); grandchildren, Kim Watkins, Kelli Watkins, Kristy Pettit (Bill), Kathy Reynolds (William), and Cassie Shankli (Zach); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds, and Zach Shanklin; sisters, Betty Anderson, Peggy Powell (John M.), Ann Oglesby (Donald), Judy Oglesby (Leonard); several nieces and nephews and a special friend (Tiger).
