Retired, City of Augusta AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest November 21, 2014 at his residence with his cat Cleo and his wife Samm by his side after a long illness. Mr. Belvin, a native of Moultrie, Ga., has lived most of his life in Augusta. He worked for Southern Railroad and a Broker for Mulherin-Belvin Real Estate Co., The Augusta-Richmond County Transportation Authority and the Public Works Dept. He was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Westover Memorial Park. His close friends will be pallbearers. He is survived by his wife, Samm LaVerne Buice Belvin; daughter, Lora Belvin Seibert, Midville, Ga.; grandchildren, Lelia Ann and Melvin; brother-in-law, David Buice; several nieces and nephews.
