WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mr. James J. Jim Clubb, 56, of 344 Andrew Drive entered into rest on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Wills Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Washington with Rev. T.G. Hall and Rev. Gale Seibert officiating. Interment will be Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Lincoln County with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Godfrey, Jarrett Clubb, Payne Clubb, Doug Aycock, Al Holloway, Gerald Lawson and Jack Smalley. Mr. Clubb was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Washington and a 1974 graduate of Lincoln County High School where he lettered four years in football. Jim attended Reinhardt College and was a member of Omega Kappa Pi. Survivors include his father, Hal Weldon Clubb of Washington; one brother, Toby Weldon Clubb and wife, Karen of Macon, GA.; one sister, Rosemarie Clubb Johnson of Washington; three nephews, Jarrett Clubb and wife, Haley, Payne Clubb, Adam Godfrey and wife, Amanda; two great nephews, Price Simpkins and Tad Simpkins; one great niece, Mackenzie Simpkins; and several uncles and aunts.
