AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. James Lewis, 90, husband of the late Lorraine Lewis, entered into rest on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Levels Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Scales officiating. Mr. Lewis was a resident of Aiken for 58 years and a member of Levels Baptist Church. He was also a US Army veteran of World War II where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his efforts in the Battle of the Bulge. Survivors include his daughter Kay Shaw and her husband Johnny of North Augusta; one granddaughter, Tammy West and her husband Robert of Martinez, GA; four grandsons, David Day and his wife Kelly of Augusta, Chris Day and his wife Heather of Salina, KS, Johnny Shaw of Fairfax, VA, and Patrick Shaw and his wife Stevi of Augusta; and 10 great grandchildren.
