Mrs. Janet L. Davenport Riley entered into rest on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Cumming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Burial will be at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Riley was retired as an educator with Richmond County Board of Education after thirty-seven years of service.

Survivors are her husband of sixty-nine years, Ernest Riley; children, Rhonda Dennard, Janice Riley, Roderick (Lesley) Riley; sisters, Willie Mae Peterson, Julia DeBose; grandchildren, Rwanda Dennard Goolsby, Atiya Dennard Hooks, Douglas Dennard, Jonathan Roderick Riley; great grandchildren, Khya and Kennedy Goolsby; and a host of other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
