NORWOOD, Ga. - Mr. Jerry Dunaway, age 60, beloved husband of Mrs. Roxanna Dunaway, entered into rest Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3 at Young Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melissa Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Dunaway was a native of McDuffie County for many years, but recently moved to Norwood. He was an industrial maintenance millwright, a member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church, and a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Roxanna Dunaway, Norwood; three daughters, Lacey Luke, Thomson, Linda Johnson, Norwood, Sylvia Cobb, Kentucky; five sons, Gerald Kenneth Dunaway, Jr., Warrenton, Jimmy Howard Jr., Thomson, Terry Howard, Norwood, Robbie Howard, Dearing and Andy Cobb; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Dunaway, Thomson; a sister, Jane Young, Thomson; a brother, Bobby Dunaway, Thomson; numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Colton Adron Howell and Logan Alexander Tanner. Pallbearers will be Randy Huff, Mickey English, Mike Thigpen, Jimmy Howard, Robbie Howard and Terry Howard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Thompson, Dickey English, Madison Bolton and Jimmy Young. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Young Memorial United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday night at the funeral home.
