EVANS, Ga. - Jessica Suzanne Stewart Chatham, 42, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Doctors Hospital Emergency Department, Augusta, GA. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church, North Belair Rd., Evans, Ga. A Celebration of Life service will follow at noon with Rev. Greg Porterfield, Rev. Gary Dean, Rev. Calvin Chatham (Grandfather) and Scott Stewart (Brother) . The entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Suzanne received her undergraduate degree from West Georgia University where she was active in several musical organizations, including the Madrigal Singers and the Praise Band with Carrollton First United Methodist Church. She received her Master s Degree from the University of Phoenix. After earning her teaching credentials, she went on to earn an endorsement for gifted education and reading. Suzanne spent the last 10 years at Thomson-McDuffie Middle School where she touched the lives of countless children and adults alike as the Choral Director and Keyboard instructor. Suzanne was a loving mother, who devoted her life to her children and her teaching career. She was a true believer who felt that we all worshipped the same God. She is survived by one son, Cademon Chatham and one daughter, Cambrey Chatham, her parents, John and Dr. Jessie Stewart, Evans, GA, one brother, Scott Stewart (Kim), Anderson, SC; and one sister, Jennifer Stewart Beckham (Jackie), Augusta, GA., and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers: Dr. Ken Daniel, Dr. Steve Rhodes, Brandon Stewart, Johnnie Stubblefield, Andrew Stubblefield, Keith Gibson, and Johnny Anderson. Thomas L.
