HARLEM, Ga. - SSGT Ret. Jimmie Branon, U.S. Air Force, 80, loving husband of 46 years of Christa Branon, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 11, 2015, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery with Full Military Honors. Mr. Branon was born in Dearing, Ga. to the late Ralph and Tiney Branon. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was the owner of Branon Painting and Pressure Washing and a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Christa Branon; one son, Everett Edward Branon (Angel); and one brother, Ed Branon.
