BLYTHE, Ga. - Jimmie C. Cantrell, 70, husband of the late Betty Jones Cantrell, entered into rest Sunday, April 10, 2016, at University Hospital. Mr. Cantrell, son of the late James Ridley and Ernestine Scott Cantrell, was a native of Holly Hill, SC. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, and was the owner of Cantrell Corners. He is survived by his daughter, Angela James (Chris), of Blythe; his grandchildren, JD Wheeler (Ashley) and Mandie Hagin (Clint), and Kyle James; his great grandchildren, Taylor James, Madison James, and Bryson Hagin; his brothers, Danny Cantrell, of Biloxi, MS, Victor Cantrell and Ricky Cantrell, both of Augusta, and Kenneth Cantrell, of Keysville; his sister in law, Carol Lawhorne, of Martinez; his brothers in law, Jimmy Jones, of Waynesboro, and Eddie Jones, of Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
