AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral Services for Mr. James Coleman "Jimmy" Wade, 88, of Boykin Road, Augusta, Georgia, who entered into rest December 22, 2015, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eastland Avenue. Bishop Michael P. Marshman presiding. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Veterans Honors. Mr. Wade was a native of Mecklenburg County, Virginia, having made Augusta his home for the past 31 years. He was a member of the Augusta Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a US Navy and Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Wade was a retired Police Officer with 43 years of service and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Iris Marie Wade and a son, James C. Wade, Jr. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Enoch Eller, Sr., Sandy, Utah; five grandchildren, Enoch Eller, Jr., Freyja Robison, Aurora Broughman, Erik Eller and Ethan Eller; fourteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Enoch Eller, Jr., Erik Eller, Ethan Eller, Kenneth Broughman, Ed Elliott and Leon Garvin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 until 8.
