Jo Fenimore Obituary

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Jo Anna Stalnaker Fenimore, 82, of Curtis Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest January 28, 2011, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Roy Kiser officiating. Interment will be Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in Memory Gardens, Madison, West Virginia. Mrs. Fenimore was a native of Glenville, West Virginia, having made North Augusta her home for the past 58 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta where she taught kindergarten. Mrs. Fenimore was the President of the first North Augusta Junior Woman's Club, she was active in the Red Cross program at Panic Pond, was a former Regent of the Martintown Road Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Golden Glow Chapter #76. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. James William Fenimore, Sr. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Valerie Fenimore, Jr., Roanoke, VA, Fredrick and Holly Fenimore, Raleigh, NC and Joseph Andrew Fenimore, North Augusta.; four grandchildren, Samuel Fenimore, Heidi Fenimore, Anna Fenimore and Bronwyn Fenimore. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday afternoon from 4 until 6. Posey Funeral Directors of North Augusta in charge of arrangements (803.278.1181).
