AUGUSTA, Ga. - Jobe "JC" Parker, 80, husband of the late Willie Ann Smiddy Parker, entered into rest Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Pineview Baptist Church, 117 Pleasant Home Rd., Augusta, with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date in Panama City, FL. Mr. Parker, son of the late Earl Clarence and Verna Estelle Woodcock Parker, was born in Parker, Florida, and served in the United States Army for twenty-two years. He then spent twenty years working in Civil Service as an Equipment Specialist with CECOM. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Lott, and his great-grandson, Oliver White. He is survived by his sons, Timothy Parker (Mary), and Peter Parker (Kimberly), both of Augusta; his daughter, Suzan Harvel (Richard), also of Augusta; his son-in-law, Gary Lott, of Ward, SC; his grandchildren, Nikki, Allison, Skyler, Jennifer, Kenny, Heather, Kristy, Hunter, and Ivan; seven great-grandchildren; his sisters, Hazel Foster, and Willie Mae Wilkes, of Panama City, FL, Louise Norton, of Lynn Haven, FL, and Helen Dries (Bob), of Reading, PA; and his aunt, Winifred Davis, of Parker, FL.
