AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Johnny Walker, 71, entered into rest Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Kentwood Extended Care Facility. He retired from Thermal Ceramics as a foreman, where he worked for many years. After retirement, he traveled as a truck driver for Werner and McKenzie Tank Lines. Mr. Walker was a member of McElmurray Spring Branch Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee. He was also a member of Hank's Lodge #919. Mr. Walker leaves to cherish fond loving memories with his wife, Mildred Walker; children, Tyron E. Walker Sr., Yuma, AZ and Linda (Mario) Lott, Augusta, Ga.; a nephew he called son, Carl (Monica) Thomas; brothers, Robert Walker and Bill Walker; sisters, Betty (Johnnie) Keller, Annie Mae Walker, Alice Beasley and Virginia Walker, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, November 7, 2015, Kinsey & Walton Chapel, with Reverend Charles N. Utley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Mr. Walker may be viewed today (Friday) from 4 to 6:00pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
