June Channell Cabe

LAVONIA, Ga. - Mrs. June Channell Cabe, age 82, of Bowman Street, Lavonia, widow of Larry W. Cabe, died Tuesday, April 22, at Hart Care Center following a long illness. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law: W. Chan & Lou Cabe of Carnesville; sister: Rebecca Byce of Martinez; brother: J. H. Channell of Conyers; and six grandchildren: Carrie Cabe, Christie Cabe, Cathie Cabe, Alex Cabe, Will Cabe and Josh Cabe. She was preceded in death by her parents: Horace Hampton "Bud" Channel and Damy Lea (Ingram) Channell; husband of 60 years: Larry Walton Cabe; and son: Walton L. Cabe. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens - North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hart Care Center, Resident Memorial Care Fund, P.O.
