GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kimberly Antoinette Lacy was born in England on April 14, 1962 to the late Janie R. and Joseph T. Lacy. She was the eldest of two children in a proud military family. As if summoned by her mother on so many other occasions, Kim answered the call from Heaven on December 25, 2014. She and her parents are all together again. Kimmie Kim Cone, as she was referred to by her father, Joseph, grew up in Fort Washington, Maryland where she attended school and contributed to the community by working in local establishments. Kim's parents doted on her and provided her with all she could ever need and want. Kim's sister, Jo Yvette, was always in close contact. The family spent countless special events and holidays together. Kim was surrounded by love and support from her immediate and extended family including aunts and cousins in Augusta, and friends and classmates of her mother, Janie. Kim is survived by her sister, Jo Yvette Lacy Idlebird; brother-in-law, Kerry J. Idlebird; nieces, Brittainy Allen and Brooklynne Idlebird; nephew, Devon Idlebird; first cousins, Bill Linyear, Lori Kitty Smith; Dewayne, Demitrius and Jody Dinkins; aunt, Ethel Trammell; and a host of cousins, aunts and other incredible family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park January 2, 2015 at 10 am. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Ivanhoe Chapel, Orlando, Florida.
