Larry Gene Harmon passed away at his home on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age of 73.

His funeral and interment services will be private and a public visitation at Rowland Funeral Home will be announced.

Larry is predeceased by his parents, Johnnie and Beulah (Singleton) Harmon, and his brother, Lindell.

Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula. They were married in St. James, Missouri on

September 13, 1980.

Larry is lovingly remembered by his wife Paula; his son Larry Gene Harmon, Il, daughter-in-law, Dagmar, his wife, and grandsons, Jonah Harmon, Christopher Harmon, Andrew Lines, Jeremy Lines and Matthew Lines and granddaughter Mariah of Spring, TX., son Lee and wife Kristy, and grandsons, Parker and Jackson, and his daughter, Janele and son-in-law, Wesley "Bubba" Wilson of Johns Island, SC.; his sister-in-law, Brenda Edwards, of North Augusta, SC; brother Lonnie and sister-in-law Rosalee, and nephews Byron and John of Carthage, Missouri; sister-in-law Dixie Harmon, of Stockton, Missouri, and nephew Jim and niece Marie; sister Lisa Walker, brother-in-law, Frank and niece Adrianna

Larry was a Civil Engineer by trade with a Masters Degree in Engineering Management. He was a disabled American Veteran having served active duty in Vietnam where he was awarded a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal.

Larry enjoyed shooting sports, especially trap and skeet, as well as reading and spending time with his family.
