CHARLESTON, S.C. - Mr. Larry English Story, 67, beloved husband of Mrs. Judy T. Story, of Moose Club Road, died Friday, June 17, 2016, in the Trident Medical Center in Charleston. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Story was born in Wilkes County, but lived most all his life in Thomson. He was a retired Asphalt Foreman. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Judy T. Story, Thomson; his three daughters, Tammy Godbee, Fran Evans, and Tee Tonya Story, all of Thomson; two sisters, Becky Waller, Thomson, and Angela Garcia, Oklahoma; two brothers, Edwin Story and Buddy Story, both of Thomson; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Edwin Story, John Waller, Jeff Smith, Floyd Huff, Allen Smith, and Brent Godbee. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home. You may sign the online guest book at Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
