"Tony" FORT MILL, S.C. - On April 18, 2015, after a year long battle with heart disease, Mr. Lester DeAngelo Williams went home to be with the Lord. DeAngelo was born on June 13, 1976 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from North Augusta Baptist Church, 508 W. Jackson Avenue, North Augusta, SC. DeAngelo was a member of North Augusta Baptist Church, North Augusta, SC. He was a graduate of North Augusta High School Class of 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Voorhees College in 1999. He became a member of the Freemasonry Rose of Sharon Lodge #156 in 1999. He was employed by Support Inc. in Gastonia, North Carolina. DeAngelo was the grandson of the late Willie Lester and Mattie Kate Powell and the late Mary Helen Williams, all of North Augusta, S.C. He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Devon Jonathan; one daughter, Marissa; and his relationships afforded him three additional sons, whom he loved dearly, Kaelan, Corey and Randall; his parents, Franklin (Beulah) McClattie, Sr. and Alexander Williams; two loving brothers, Alexander DeShawn and Franklin Jr.; three sisters, Debbie, Ella, and Teiza; one aunt, Rosa Lee Scurry; two great-aunts, Annie M. Turner and Mary Powell; three uncles, Carlton Johnson, Henry Henderson and Eddie Scurry; godparents, (NaaNaa) Pauline Nabritt and Judy Cobritt. He leaves his loving fiancee, the love of his life, Paris Brown; and a host of other cousins, seven nieces, and two nephews. He anxiously awaited the arrival of his second nephew and was the proud "Uncle Daddy" of Chase Alexander-DeAngelo Williams, who arrived on April 2, 2015. A host of loving friends, classmates, co-workers, caregivers and extended family. He touched the lives of many throughout his life; whenever you saw "D", no matter the reason or occasion, his sense of humor left you in stitches. He truly was what his tattoo said, "Less than God, More than Man." Friends may call the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin McClattie, Sr. or W. H. Mays Mortuary, 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30901 (706) 722-6401.
