THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Lillie Lee Garmany, 65, of Chalker Rd. SW, Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest January 16, 2015, at University Hospital. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnna and Greg Wilkinson, and her three grandchildren, Brianna Wilkinson, Scott Wilkinson, and Camden Wilkinson. Lee was born in Norwood, Georgia to the late Charlie Alton Shelton, Sr. and the late Josephine Brewer Shelton. She worked at the Western Sizzlin in Thomson for many years and retired from Delta Airlines. Lee was a member of Norwood Baptist Church. Lee is also survived by her brother, J. Gerald Shelton of Lincolnton, Georgia; her sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis S. Roche and Rich Roche of Norwood, Massachusetts; her brother and sister-in-law, C.A. Shelton, Jr. and Robbie Shelton of Norwood, Georgia; her brother, J. Milton Shelton of Gibson, Georgia; her nieces, Lisa Johnston (Mike), Lori Murphy (Terrance), Jessica Miller (Ric), Tiffany Shelton, Amanda Shelton, Sandy Shelton, Melissa Hawthorne, Christy Byrd (Steven), Rene Shelton; her nephews, Charlie Shelton, Scott Roche (Liz), Jimmy Shelton (Becky), Jonathan Shelton (Cathy), Chris Shelton (Berkeley); and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her niece, Jennifer Shelton. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Harwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence, 3836 Chalker Road, Thomson, Georgia, following the service. There will be a visitation with no viewing from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, Georgia. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, PO Box 25, Gibson, Georgia 30810. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA, is in charge.
