CLEARWATER, S.C. - Mrs. Linda Hamm Neeley, 59, entered into rest in the comfort of her home on Thursday, October 1, 2015, following a brave and courageous battle with ovarian cancer, with her aunt and caregiver, Elaine Shepard and dear friend, Dennis Hennessey, at her side. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Annie Harris Hamm. Linda was a member of Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene, where she was active in Driven by the Spirit Motorcycle Ministry, the Ladies Ministry and enjoyed traveling to hear gospel groups play and going on women's retreats. In addition to her parents, family members include, siblings, Doug Hamm and his wife, Tara, North Augusta, SC, Robert Hamm, Columbia, SC and Hazel Floyd and her husband, Curtis, Augusta, GA; special nephew, Rodney Hamm, Augusta, GA; special cousin, Joanna Payton, North Augusta, SC; best friend, Marlene Crawford and her husband, Stump, Gloverville, SC; companion, George Clements, Augusta, GA; her beloved cat, Marley. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Wayne Cheselka and Pastor Mike McAdory officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, SC. Pallbearers will be Wayne Banks, Dennis Carter, Morris Maxey, Henry Rash, T. Wayne Johnson and Dennis Hennessey.
