GREENVILLE, S.C. - Lois Huff Foster of Greenville, widow of the late Paul J. Foster, Jr., passed away on March 23, 2016 at 5:15 a.m. She was born Dec. 10, 1930 in Augusta, GA, the daughter of the late Robert Gordon Huff Sr. and Louise Merritt Huff. She graduated from Tubman High School and received a B.S. degree in Business Admin from U.S.C. A longtime member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Greenville County Legal Auxiliary, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 30 years. Her family and grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she stayed in close touch with all. Surviving are daughters, Lynn Eads and husband, Al, and Beth Bauknight and husband, Chuck; son, Robin Foster and wife, Anna; brother Robert Gordon Huff, Jr. and wife, Nancy; nine grandchildren, Madison and Dolan Foster, Sean, Rebecca and Erin Eads, Major, Foster, Tanner, and Baylor Bauknight, and nieces and nephews. A "Celebration of Life" to honor Lois will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the home of Lynn Eads, 302 Hillsborough Dr., Greenville, SC 29615. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Springwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, 200 Buncombe St., Greenville, SC 29601 or Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon St., Greenville, SC 29605.
