AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Louise Reese Minton entered into rest on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Mrs. Minton retired from the Richmond County Government Civil Court and District Attorney's Office. She was a past member of the Quota Club, Boating Club of Augusta, and Royal Arcanum. Mrs. Minton is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest W. Minton; parents, John and Emmie Reese; brothers, Irvin Reese and James Reese; sisters, Allene Floyd, Thelma Hydrick, Rosa Lee Peebles, Lillian Goldman and Emmie Jackson. Survivors include son, Wayne Minton (Nan); grandchildren, Donna Tadlock (Bill), Tina Inglett (Mark), and Wayne Minton, Jr. (Melissa); six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Wayne Minton, Jr., Austin Tadlock, Bill Tadlock, Mark Inglett, Ethan Redlund, and Everett Hydrick. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road. A graveside service will be held at 11am, Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family would like to give a special thank you to the caring staff at Morningside of Evans and MSA Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4943 Columbia Road, Grovetown, GA 30813 or MSA Hospice, 4314 Belair Frontage Road, Augusta, GA 30909.
