AUGUSTA, Ga. - Passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Lue Lue was a longtime resident of Augusta GA, a Baptist and member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a 30 year retiree of the Army & Air Force Exchange Services at Fort Gordon. After her retirement she worked for Calvin Hobbs M.D. and John Baxter M.D. as a caregiver. Lue Lue enjoyed moving to Atlanta to spend quality time with her grandchildren once she became unable to live alone by herself. She lived her last few years in Alpharetta, GA, residing to be close to her family at The Manor Golf and Country Club of Alpharetta, GA. She desired to be close to her grandchildren, who loved her unconditionally. Lue Lue was such a loving person with an amazing heart of gold. As her loving devoted granddaughter and caregiver for over 15 years, it has truly been an honor and privilege to be given this marvelous opportunity in taking care of such a wonderful grandmother who we were blessed to have in our lives. We have cherished some of the most memorable moments together that will last a life time. As we tearfully mourn the loss of such an amazing person, we are forever blessed to have had her as our grandmother and we await for the opportunity to embrace her with love and open arms again, but until then she will be forever loved and missed dearly. Lucile leaves behind a daughter-in-law, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. There will be a private ceremony and burial. We would like to express our genuine gratitude to all who shared a big part in Lue Lue's life. Your love, devotion, and prayers are greatly appreciated! All cards and correspondences send to: P.O. Box 125, Roswell, Ga. 30077.
