Ms. Madeline Landrum Henson Ware, age 88 of Whitney Road, Savannah, Ga., who died Wednesday in Candler Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson County Memorial Gardens, Louisville, Ga. Pallbearers will be: Thom Henson, Jason Henson, Daniel Collier, Will Henson, Rob Henson and Jimmy Landrum.

A native of Avera, Ga., Madeline was a daughter of the late James Henry Landrum and Willie Sheppard Landrum. She retired from Thermo King and had attended Louisville United Methodist Church and Milledgeville United Methodist Church. Ms. Ware was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Merry Music Makers of Milledgeville, Needles for Jesus of Milledgeville and the Rivers Edge Volleyball team in Savannah.

Madeline is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert L. Henson and A. B. Ware; brothers, Frank Landrum and George Landrum and a sister, Mamie Lou Herrick and is survived by sons, T. Melvin (Mel) and Regina Henson of Lugoff, SC, James R. (Bob) Henson of Thomson, GA and Jeff and Robin Henson of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Elizabeth Myers Henson & Jere of Savannah, GA; several nieces and nephews.

The Ware family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
