WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Malena Turner Anderson, 91, wife of the late Mr. Thomas Kenneth Anderson, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 26th, 2016. Born in Edgefield County, SC and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Albert Clark and Lily Rodgers Turner. She was a former employee of the Graniteville Company and retired from Harvey Hubbell. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious coconut pies and dumplings. In addition to her husband and parents, family members include a daughter, Yvonne Henkes Long and her husband, William Alton "Al", Jr., Aiken, SC; son-in-law, the late Major Harley Gene Henkes, US Army Ret., brothers, Edward Turner, Aiken, SC, the late Brunson Turner, the late Loami Turner and the late Alvin Turner and grandchildren, Kenneth Henkes and his wife, Kory, Oxford, MS and Melanie Henkes, Wilmington, DE. Friends will be greeted by the family on Friday, July 29th, 2016, beginning at 3 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC, followed by a Celebration of Life Service in the chapel at 4 o'clock with Rev. Ron Doss officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Bubba Toole, Ross Toole, Jerry Hatcher, Donald Turner, Raymond Turner and Eddie Turner. Should you so desire, memorials may be made to the (www.alz.org) or to the .
