ABBEVILLE, S.C. - Malinda J. Hershberger, 81, formerly of Abbeville, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Lynnhaven, VA to the late Jonas Henry Hershberger and Katie W. Yoder Hershberger. Malinda formerly owned and operated the Dutch Oven in Abbeville for 17 years. She also owned and operated the Mennonite Maid Restaurant in Anderson, SC and was a member of Whole Life Ministries in Augusta, GA. Ms. Hershberger is survived by her two sisters, Esther Kuhns (the late Menno) of Arthur, IL and Fannie Weaver (Noah) of Carrollton, GA; one sister-in-law, Barbara Kline; twenty-three nieces, nephews and an uncountable number of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00Noon to 2:30PM, Friday, November 6, 2015, at Whispering Pines Mennonite Church, 7085 Hwy. 20, Honea Path, SC 29654. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the church. Burial will follow in church cemetery. The families are at their respective homes.
