She loved working in the garden, taking care of her flowers, and loved camping out with her family. She enjoyed fishing and eating them. She was a very good mom to her kids and will be missed greatly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her first husband, Floyd T. Penrow and her second husband, Quinton Askew. She is survived by four children, Johnny Penrow (Connie), Ann McNair (Bob), Steve Penrow (Nancy) and Andre Penrow (Inez); seven grandchildren, Chris Penrow, Bobby McNair, Pamela Skuza, Michael Penrow, Brian Penrow, Amanda Hendley, and Alexis Wilson; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Bufford Gray (Vallie); and a sister, Nellie Pizzie. Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 6 at Burkehaven Chapel (498 Park Dr., Waynesboro, GA 30830) with Garry Morgan and James Gay officiating. Visitation will follow the services.
