AUGUSTA, Ga. - Deacon McCathern Dick Rouse, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2012, at his residence, with his loving wife, Mrs. Rosie Lee Rouse of 64 years of blissful marriage, and his family by his side. The son of the late Mr. Lewis and Mrs. Hattie Kelly Rouse, and a member of the Green Branch Christian Faith Center (Green Branch Baptist Church), under the pastorate of Rev. Roger Lane. He was preceded in death by five younger siblings, five senior adult siblings, and two daughters; Ms. Gloria Gene Rouse, and Mrs. Martha Rouse Rogers. In addition to his wife he is lovingly remembered by: two sons Carl (Ray) (Angie Williams) Rouse and Lewis (Chuck) Rouse; three daughters, Annie Lewis, Catherine (Freddie) Handy and Luretha (Larry) Burley, all of Augusta, GA; one brother, Ralph Rouse of Augusta, GA., and two granddaughters, Jennica Rouse & Jeanet Hagood, like daughters, that he raised. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on September 29th, at Green Branch. C. A. Reid Memorial Funeral Home, 314-A Laney-Walker Blvd.
