AUGUSTA, Ga. - Rev. Milford T. Vaught, Sr., 94, of Vinewood Drive, husband of the late Dorothy Davis Vaught, entered into rest on Friday, September 2, 2016. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Addis Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery with Military Honors. Rev. Vaught was a member of Grace Assembly of God. He retired from the ministry after he served for 65 years in the Assembly of God churches. He served in WWII as part of the U.S. Army. He is survived by two sons, Tom Vaught (Kay) of Augusta, GA, and Jonathan D. Vaught (Nadine) of St. Petersburg, FL; two daughters, Nancy V. Sjostrom (Len) of North Augusta, SC, and Lorrie Miller (Gabe) of Edgefield, SC; a brother Sam of Ohio; two sisters, Ann Ward of Kentucky and Emily Ashcraft of Arizona; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by a son, Charles Vaught. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
