LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mollie Louise Ingram Wagoner died on Wednesday, February 3, in Lincolnton, Georgia. She was born March 24, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Sara Morgan Ingram and Fred Hooten Ingram, Sr. Mollie spent her early years in middle Tennessee. She graduated from Western Kentucky University where she received B.S. and M. Ed. degrees in Physical Education and Recreation. She became an educator and spent the last years of her career as the head of the Pre-K programs with the Lincoln County school system. She retired in 2010. After retiring, she continued to serve as an active member of the board for Lincoln County Family Connection. Mollie is survived by her husband, Stephen John Wagoner; her sons, Kelly John Wagoner (Stefani) of Atlanta, and Jesse Dean Wagoner of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Will and Ansley Wagoner; sisters, Beckie Ingram Goolsby (Jim) of Augusta and Saralyn Ingram of Augusta; brother, Fred Hooten Ingram, Jr. (Micky) of Lincolnton and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mollie was well-loved by her family and friends and her generous spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life were enjoyed by all who knew her. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Lincolnton United Methodist Church with Rev. Deborah J. Griffith officiating.
