Funeral services for Mr. Ulysses "Cee" Hardy, of Academy Street will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Science Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. The remains will lie in state in the church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hardy, a native of Edgefield County was a 1968 Honor graduate of W. E. Parker High School. Survivors include, a daughter, Lillian K. Simpkins; two sons, Ulysses (Felicia) Hardy, Jr., and Johnathan F. Hardy; four sisters, Barbara H. (Marshall) Turner, Jr., Jeanette H. Elam, Patricia H. (Willie M.) Curry, Denise H. Pickens; a brother, Enoch (Bernetta) Hardy, Jr.,; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; aunts, Georgia B. Johnson, Maggie Johnson; great aunt, Mary Johnson; uncles, James (Aldenia) Johnson and Moses Turner; mother-in-law, Katrina Harrison; god sister, Deloria Jennings-Perry; a host of other relatives and friends.
