ATLANTA, Ga. - A much- loved husband and father, Nicholas Grant, 32, of Atlanta, Georgia, went home to be with Lord on June 21, 2013. Nicholas was born on August 9, 1980 in Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of Laval Grant and the late Betty Jean Anthony. He was a bouncing baby boy who was spoiled by all especially his father. The family later moved to Miami, Florida where Nicholas accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He received his formal education in the Dade County public school system. He was an athletic young man who loved baseball, football, and basketball. Nicholas love for the outdoors lead to the establishment of his landscaping business in Augusta, Georgia. He was the sole proprietor of Sharptouch Landscaping. While residing in Augusta, Nicholas was a faithful member of Trumpet and Zion Ministries. Nicholas then journeyed to Atlanta, Georgia where he was united in holy matrimony with Yolanda Bradshaw. He was a devoted husband and a loving father, who adored his children who were the center of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jean Anthony. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories , his wife Yolanda Bradshaw- Grant; three sons: Nicholas M. Grant, Kamal A. Grant, and Xavian Z. Bradshaw all of Atlanta, GA; one daughter: Destiny N. Grant of Greenwood, SC; his father, Laval (Ioline) Grant of Port St. Lucie, FL; and three god sisters: Demetra Bogans, Amanda Dillingham and Danielle Harper. Other survivors include five brothers: Julio Serrano, Victor Serrano and Dennis (Maxine) Grant of Atlanta Ga; Archibald (Celene) Grant of West Palm Beach, FL. and Emmanuel Grant of Port St. Lucie, FL; one sister, Christine Grant of Miami; very special cousins: Edwin Gresham, Samantha Sampson and Stephanie Sampson; a very special aunt, Willie Eva Sampson, who has been a second mother for him and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His funeral will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Roberson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 985 Ga. Highway 24W, Waynesboro, GA 30830. Phinazee and Son Funeral Home, 706-554-5500
