Ms. Ora Bell McKie Butler, of Burnswick Avenue, entered into rest April 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at First Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Alexander Pope, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Butler was a 1971 graduate of North Augusta High School. She worked for Pfizer as a Pharmaceutical Operator. She was a member of First Providence Baptist Church serving as a trustee and choir member. Survivors include a son, Wayne A. (Tanya) Butler, Jr.; a brother, James (Carolyn) McKie; five sisters, Mattie (Jessie) Price, Essie Askew, Lillian (Barney) Holloman, Sara (Kirk) Cofer and Mary (Robert) Morgan; grandchildren, Tahj, Tylen, Alanah and Aniah; her significant other, Marshall Bell, Jr.; uncle, Walter Bennett; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence of Sara (Kirk) Cofer, 701 McKenzie Street, North Augusta or after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. G. L.
