AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Patricia Ann Smith-Striggles was born December 18, 1958 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Wesley Scott and Frankie Lee Taylor. She entered into rest on Sunday morning, September 27, 2015 after having battled cancer for several years. Patricia was being visited and comforted by family members at University Hospital in Augusta, GA at the time of her passing. She was 56 years old. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Scott and a stepson, Michael Antonio Young. She leaves to mourn: her mother, Frankie Lee Taylor of Augusta; her loving husband of 37 years, John Henry Striggles of Augusta; two daughters, Johnnesha (James) Henrita Parker of Lawton, Oklahoma and Patrice Andrea Striggles of Augusta; five grandchildren, Michael Antonio Till of Hephzibah, Georgia, Malik Young of Hephzibah, Georgia, Johnmichael Cobb and James Parker IV, both of Lawton, Oklahoma and Kaitlyn Striggles of Augusta; one great-grandchild, Michael Ronnie Till of Hephzibah, Georgia; and a host of cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Fountain Baptist Church with Reverend Herman Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening at the funeral home from 6:00-7:00 p.m. W. H.
